Iphone 15 battery Health/ battery drain issue

Hello Team,

I had purchased a brand new Iphone 15 from an authorized apple store.

My daily screen on time is less than 4.5 hours daily.

I got the phone on 15th Feb 2024.

It is not even two months now and my battery health came down to 97%.

Is it normal or the phone has some manufacturing defect.

Please help me with some answers.

Apple support is not responding to my mails or calls now.

Worst service !

iPhone 15, iOS 17

There is no manufacturing defect, your battery is performing normally.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone. This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

Out-of-the-Box Battery Health Drop:

Unfortunately, there is no way to determine why or when the Battery Health percentage dropped. Dropping 1-3% is typical and expected for most out-of-the-box iPhones. So, the adjective to use here is "typical", rather than "normal".
