Data Roaming Option not seen in the settings after esim Card installation

Since i have installed an esim Card for a trip I am not able anymore to see the Data Roaming Option where it used to be - General Settings - Mobile Service. I put in my original Sim Card for a quick check up during another trip now and Roaming seems to be turned on as i received a warning message that i exceeded my Roaming costs!!! I am 100% certain that i had the roaming button turned off before these trips but now i am not able to even find the option (no button visible) anymore. Even when i search for it, it leads me to the settings - mobile service - but it is not there (image attached). I have an Iphone 15 Pro - please help me how to get this option back as i can't afford to always pay roaming fees just when checking up my hometowns sim card every once in a while.

Since Data Roaming is a carrier provided feature, it would seem the simplest thing you can do is to contact your carrier who provides this service to your number. Did you contact them?

Cellular Update Failed —> If you see an Update Failed or Apple Pay Not Available alert after iOS update or restart

Settings > Mobile Data > APN [under Mobile Data APN] enter the APN pin

View and edit your APN settings

If your carrier allows it, you can view your APN settings in one of the following locations: Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Network. Settings> Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Mobile Data Network.

View and edit your Access Point Name (APN) on your iPhone ...

Carrier Update (Required): Released by your Cellular Service provider (Carrier Update), affects your Outgoing / Incoming calls, SMS, Data etc..

How to Update Carrier Settings

You can manually check for and install carrier settings, and update with these steps: Make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.

If nothing helps then --> If you see a Cellular, Ultra Wideband, or Apple Pay Issue message after an iOS update or restart
