I have parental control for my kids on. they can’t use Memoji following typical instructions via messaging. I can’t find any setting in parental controls.
Are you sure about using Memoji in SMS/MMS messaging? I have absolutely no issue sending a Memoji to friends who have Android phones.
Since the author didn't however, identify the model iPhone their kids are using, if they don't use Face ID, they won't be able to use Memoji at all.
Memojis cannot be used in SMS/MMS in the iOS Message App.
Memojis are not available in all iPhone Models.
You may get better and prompt responses if you may kindly provide the iPhone Model that you have and the iOS version if it is known to you and re-post.
