Hello. My ipad updated its software overnight. This morning I had to put in my apple id and memorable information, and then the ipad passcode. It has now frozen with the spinning wheel icon on the 'Enter ipad passcode' page where it has been for 30 minutes now. Help please!

If your iPad is unresponsive to input, you have no alternative other than to perform a forced-restart:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
