Reminders widget not displaying items on iPhone 15 Pro Max

The Reminders App on my iPhone 15 Pro Max & my MacBook Pro shows correct info and syncs correctly on both devices. The Reminders Widget on my MacBook Pro displays correctly - including when I change information on my iPhone Reminders App which updates correctly on my MacBook Reminders Widget.

Now here’s the kicker… I’m able to add the Reminders Widget on my iPhone 15 Max Pro on Lock & Home screens, but the widget will not show any information! Only shows some lines and basically is blank. Also, if I touch the widget to try and edit it, it will not flip over or respond. I’m definitely signed on to iCloud with same account, I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall Reminders App many times all with absolutely no change. I’ve even tried deleting reminders app, signing out of iCloud and signing back in, reinstalling reminders app again, rebooting, then adding widget - all with no luck. Since I had signed out, I then had the pleasure of rebuilding my wallet from scratch & fixing a bunch of random settings to get my iPhone back to the way I had it.

Not sure what to do from here….

Do you use “Bold Text” ? If so, disable “Bold Text” in Settings > Display & Brightness (and perhaps in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size), remove the Reminders widget, add it again and enable bold text again.

Just wanted to add…..

Before this all happened, my primary AppleID was my .MAC address which had a few shared lists thru a family share - I changed my Apple ID to my .ME address & I think that’s the issue. I removed .mac from my account, and found out I can’t re-add it at all now. So I can’t even sign into it to switch back. What a freaking mess Apple has made this new Reminders update/conversion.

I’ve been scouring these threads and support for months, only to find post after post of others issues of similar problems - unable to uncover anything that I haven’t tried or that pertains to my specific issue. Also, I have yet to get any responses from Apple Community Support personnel - so I’m guessing they’re just as perplexed as myself. Thank God for third party apps that continue to work great until Apple gets this under control. ToDo app in AppStore is a lifesaver in this circumstance. Almost looks & feels exactly like Reminders, too. Hope this helps anyone else.

Omg it worked! I’m stunned. Would never have guessed that Bold being on was the problem. You have solved an issue that was driving me nuts for about 8 months - Can’t say THANK YOU enough!! I can’t believe Apple hasn’t fixed this bug yet & I can’t believe more people haven’t had this exact problem. Really strange.
