Onscreen keyboard not showing up on iPad immediately. Only showing the options at the bottom of the screen if you want to type or use diction.
I've suddenly encountered this problem with my iPad wherein the Onscreen keyboard doesn't show up immediately. I tried to do the normal stuff like restart the iPad, reset the settings and so on. Until I found the solution to my problem. I'm currently using the Microsoft SwiftKey app as my onscreen keyboard as I've been using this app for years over in my Android phones. So, when I got this iPad, thankfully it worked. So, the solution I found was to go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards. Tap on Edit on the top right of the screen and drag SwiftKey to the top. This will force SwiftKey to open immediately instead of that option bar at the bottom of the screen whenever you try to type in a new search bar or other apps when you need to type. I hope this helps.
