Selected text on desktop and in apps magnifies to about six times the font size. How do I turn it off?
Can't find anything on this feature. All text that is clicked on in Desktop and in apps get magnified.
iMac 27″, macOS 11.7
Go to Apple > System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom > uncheck "Enable Hover Text"

Thanks for the quick reply. This one really had me going. Could find nothing on Google and even here in the User's Community. I talked with my son and he suggested checking the Magnifier. I found it and had it fixed before I saw your reply. This is exactly what my problem was. I somehow l had turned on the Magnifier and all text was being magnified. Very confusing.
