Recent models of iPad are supplied with a 20W USB-C Power Adapter.

If your existing charging cable has a USB-C connector on one end - and a Lightning connector on the other - then you'll likely wish to replace the lost item with a matching 20W USB-C Power Adapter.

If instead your charging cable has the larger (rectangular) USB Type-A connector, the iPad will have been supplied with a 12W Power Adapter. In this situation, you can replace the lost Power Adapter with (a) a similar model Power Adapter - or (b) replace with a 20W USB-C Power Adapter and a USB-C to Lighting charging cable.
