What iTunes version do I need for my MacBook Pro?

I'm trying to backup my iPhone to my MacBook, but every iTunes file that I try to download and install says it's not compatible with my laptop. The laptop model is MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) and it's running macOS Monterey Version 12.7.4 (21H1123). Is iTunes no longer supported by the newer operating systems or am I missing something? Just trying to back my iPhone so I can have all my files on my laptop.
