Please enter a valid serial number.

Hello everyone! I have a problem. Yesterday i bought a new MacBook m3 pro ( Great Britain version) and when I enter a serial number on an official website I get “Please enter a valid serial number.”

I sure that i write it correct.

The seller says that when linking icloud to the British version, you need to take a week for the serial number to appear on the official website. Is it true?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.3

Try copy & pasting the serial number from "About This Mac" located on the Apple menu. Some characters in the system serial number can be confused between letters & numbers, such as the number zero & the letter "O" (OH), 2 & Z, 5 & S, etc.

I don't know what part of the Apple website you are trying to use with this serial number. I suppose for some things it may require Apple to receive updated information from an authorized reseller.

How about when you enter the system serial number on the Apple check coverage page here? At the very least I would expect that site to give you the exact model of the Mac even if it cannot give any coverage information.
