How to have different wallpapers on lock and home screens iOS 17.4

Old topic but none of the answer you find seem to work. I can’t figure out how to have different wallpapers on the two screens.

How can I set two different kinds of wallpapers on my iPhone 16? For the longest time on my iPhone 13, before iOS 16 came out, I had a photo as my Lock Screen and an iOS 15 dynamic photo as my Home Screen. I’m now trying to set an iOS 18 dynamic photo as my Home Screen and Photo Shuffle as my Lock Screen, but it keeps telling me to either set them as a pair or to use a plain color as my Home Screen. Is there a way to set both of these types of wallpapers at once or has customization actually gone down?

IOS 26, Cant customize home screen from lockscreen* once I've added wallpaper *edit: I checked and you can do it in settings! But still, before, you could customize home-screen anytime after doing the initial process of adding a new wallpaper. Now I cant do that anymore. Everytime i press “customize” for an already existing wallpaper it only brings up the wallpaper for lockscreen, with no options to customize the homescreen. If you press done it will be done not go to a second page to customize homescreen. So once you add a wallpaper in ios 26, as far as I am aware, you cant edit the homescreen portion from ur lockscreen anymore
