iCloud Passwords Chrome Extension requires MFA Frequently

It seems that every few hours the Chrome extension for iCloud Passwords requires a verification code in order to access the saved passwords. Does anyone know of a way to have this be a one-and-done verification or at least only when the browser is restarted?
