How did you enable SDP if Face Recognition didn't work?
You can't access passwords without FaceID. You'll need to turn off SDP.

How to turn Stolen Device Protection on or off
To turn on Stolen Device Protection, you must use two-factor authentication for your Apple ID and set up or enable the following on your iPhone: a device passcode; Face ID or Touch ID; and Significant Locations* (Location Services).
You also need to have Find My turned on, and you can't turn it off while Stolen Device Protection is enabled.
You can turn on Stolen Device Protection in Settings:
About Stolen Device Protection for iPhone - Apple Support
If your iPhone has never recognized your face and you're unable to access your device due to stolen device protection settings, you'll need to follow some specific steps to regain access. Here’s what you can do:
1. **Face ID Setup Check:**
- First, ensure that Face ID is properly set up. If you have temporary access to your device (e.g., using a passcode), go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode. You might need to enter your passcode to access these settings. From there, you can set up Face ID again. Make sure you are in a well-lit area and follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
2. **Use Device Passcode:**
- If Face ID isn't working, your device passcode will still allow access. This is the same passcode you use when the device restarts or when you haven’t unlocked it for more than 48 hours.
3. **Reset Face ID:**
- If you can access the settings using your passcode, try resetting Face ID. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode, enter your passcode, and then tap ‘Reset Face ID’. This will allow you to set it up anew.
4. **Recovery Mode and Restore:**
- If you cannot remember your passcode and Face ID is not working, you might need to put your device into recovery mode and restore it using a computer. Here’s how:
- **On a computer**, open iTunes (if you have a PC or macOS Mojave and earlier) or Finder (if you have macOS Catalina and later).
- **Connect your iPhone to the computer** using a USB cable.
- **Force restart your iPhone**: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, press and quickly release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery mode screen.
- Once your iPhone is in recovery mode, **on your computer**, look for your device in iTunes or Finder and choose 'Restore'. This erases all data from your device and installs the latest iOS. Note: This step will erase all data on your iPhone, but if you have an iCloud backup or a backup on your computer, you can restore it afterward.
5. **Contact Apple Support:**
- If none of these steps work, contacting Apple Support is advisable. They can provide additional troubleshooting steps and support.
6. **Data Recovery Concerns:**
- Before you attempt the restore, consider your backup situation. If you don’t have recent backups and data recovery is crucial, you might want to consult with a professional or visit an Apple Store to explore all possible options safely.
By following these steps, you should be able to regain access to your iPhone and resolve the issues with Face ID and access to your passwords.
