Is it necessary to have iOS17.0 for GarageBand?
i’m just trying to download until i knew that it needed 17.0+

iOS17 Required for GarageBand:
No. iOS16 is what is required. However, by updating your iPhone, only the latest compatible version will install. So, if compatible with iOS16, then it will install iOS17.

- Scroll to: fine print (bottom of page)
- As it Reads: "GarageBand is available on the App Store. iOS 16 required. Downloading apps requires an Apple ID."
