Sharing Scans from Notes

I used to be able to take scans in the Notes app, then share easily by attaching all the scans in a given note to an email, or by uploading straight into GoogleDrive.

However, since the Notes app has been updated, it's much less intuitive to use, very glitchy (constant crashing) and most problematically, I cannot find a way to consistently share scans from Notes either via Airdrop, email or by uploading to GoogleDrive.

For instance, I tried to share 3 scans contained within the same Note earlier today and while one of the scans did share successfully, the other two were not compatible with my iOS. Why?? would one of the scans work but not the others?? So, I updated my IOS, but still no dice.

Intermittently the scans on my phone grey out and I have to restart or reboot the app to view them again.

Any ways round this?

Where were the Notes? See the pic below. You will get your answer

The various options that you are referring ("the second text menue") to will exist only if your Notes are on iCloud or the "On My Phone" Folder.

The 2 pics below are self-explanatory.

If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Notes are always synced through Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other email Account

Any data on your device that isn't synced regularly will be stored in your iCloud Backup. With Backup turned on, iCloud takes periodic snapshots of this data to make sure it's easy to restore any time you get a new device. Between syncing and backing up, all of your data is kept safe in the cloud.
