CDCstate error 5501

Does anyone run into this issue of pairing apple watch series 7 to iphone? I have reset the watch a few times and it seems like when I almost reach the end of the paring process, it gives me this error code.

How to resolve 'Verification Failed - Unknown Error' when pairing Apple Watch5 with iPhone 16? Hi, I am trying to Pair Apple Watch5 to IPhone 16 and receiving error "Verification Failed - Unknown Error Occurred". The Apple ID is currently logged into an iPhone 11 which is being transferred to a new iPhone 16. The watch is second hand, and the lady has unpaired and removed from her Apple ID and IWATCH App. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Finally, I was able to pair my watch to my iPhone successfully. I did turn off my WiFi and turned it back on and restarted the watch.

I have the same issue … at the same point in the process … CDPStateError 5501
