Any that support AirPrint.

Personally I would HP printers at all costs because HP likes to play games by changing features & functionality of their printers in a negative way with their firmware updates. For example, HP will prevent the use of third party ink cartridges. Plus if you have an HP multi-function printer with built-in scanner......if any of the ink cartridges are empty, then the scanner will not function even when sending the image to the computer.

Seems Canon has been caught at it as well.

The linked article also includes links to other HP printer issues such as the firmware update issues I mentioned. I used to like HP printers and used to recommend them....no longer. I know a lot of people like the Brother printers and I really like the Brother laser printers, but I've never had one of their inkjets although I've heard some people say they are good as well.

I also try to avoid inkjet printers whenever possible because they consume so much ink even when they sit dormant because the printer must periodically push ink through the nozzles to keep them clear. If you use it a lot, then it may be fine. If you only need occasional color printing, then you may want to consider printing your stuff at a store assuming there is no personal information in the print job.

You absolutely want AirPrint. (That reduces or avoids the dependence on vendor printer drivers.)

You will want to look at the ink and toner and the rest of the consumables prices for whatever printer you are considering buying, too. Also check whether the consumables have a time limit, as is unfortunately common with some printers and some printer vendors; the cartridges can have an expiration and will not print past that date.

Local preference is a Brother laser.

I just remembered that I've seen reports that HP wants to only have a subscription service for their ink:

And even a subscription service (or rental) for the physical printer as well:

Local preference is a Brother laser.

From what I've seen & read about Brother, they seem to be old school & pride themselves on it which is refreshing since so many companies are trying to make everything a rental/loan, or subscription.
