Pop up window in Safari "select an edition"

Annoying the pop up window for select an edition you can't not select or close the window. Did somebody found the way to remove it? thank you

I updated Safari to 17.4.1 with OS 14.4.1 and the pop up finally disappeared!!

How to remove little tab at left end of tab bar? On the left end of the tab bar in Safari, is a little tab, which has nothing to do with anything I'm interested in, but doesn't have the x to close it. Is there a way to elliminate it? Or change it to something I might use?

Popups in Safari I am often getting popups (see attachment) when I search something in Safari. It is like a small insert screen giving me a short description of the subject, with links to websites. It is not a big deal on my iMac, as I can click to the side and get rid of it. But, when it happens on my iPhone or iPad I do not have that option and cannot go any further, unless I click on the link, which does me no good. Does anyone have an idea how I stop this from happening? Thanks!

Is there any way to get rid of "select an edition" which is frozen on Yahoo Safari screen? I have tried all of your suggestions
