Android text messages

It seems certain iPhones are not receiving texts from Android users despite running latest IOS version 17. Anyone else having this issue?

iPad mini 4, iPadOS 15

If someone isn't receiving messages from Android phones, they likely haven't turned on Send as SMS or MMS Messages, in Settings > Messages. And it they have and they're still not able to communicate via messages with Android users, they need to contact their carrier for help as SMS/MMS is a carrier feature, not an Apple feature.

Just a clarification. Settings>Messages>Send as SMS has nothing to do with Android phones. All it does is, if an iMessage fails, it will automatically resend it as an SMS. If you don't have it enabled, you'll need to manually resend it.
