Calls On Other Devices

iPad rings when iPhone rings. I want iPad to stop ringing. Calls On Other Devices is toggled Off but is listed as On. I do not have Face Time App so that isn’t applicable here. What to do? And, thanks in advance!

On your iPhone

Check the following settings:

Settings > Mobile Data >WiFi Calling > Add WiFi Calling for Other Devices - set to OFF

Settings > Mobile Data > Calls on Other Devices >

  • Allow Calls on Other Devices - set to ON
  • [Allow Calls On] - explicitly disable your iPad from the list of devices.

Finally, restart your iPhone:

I do not have Mobile Data on my systems. iPad 7th gen. and iPhone Pro Max.

WiFi Calling for Other Devices is toggled in OFF position. BUT under Calls On Other Devices it is listed as On. Direct contradiction.

When I switch Allow Calls on Other Devices to On I get a pop up that says FaceTime and iCloud must be signed in to same Apple ID to enable. Well, that makes no sense because I do not have FaceTime…..and the calling (ringing) IS enabled since my iPad rings!
