Sonoma Update disabled Touch Bar

Just updated to Sonoma 14.4.1 and now my Touch Bar won't work. Seems like it may be a common problem? Please advise.

On an Intel you can try both

resetting the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

on a Soc M1/M2/M3

Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal

no resolve—Try a SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
