Can a tear in the new woven wires be repaired?

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Its for the new woven USB-C charger wire and it ripped a little and now the wire is coming out. I tried stretching it to push it back inside but its not working.

And if so, would it be wiser to repair it or buy a new charger? My wire is a little worn out. Can I use a duct tape? My only USB-A wire (thanks to new Apple’s charging wires policy) became a little unpleasant to hold. Can I use a duct tape to fix it? Is it safe?

Cable charger issue I've bought an additional iPhone cable from Apple and it's crack damage start to appear on the cable plug, (With no hardness usage), I understand that the the hardware has its own usage lifetime, but I didn't expect this such a fragile material from Apple brand. Has anyone has this issue?
