My wire is a little worn out. Can I use a duct tape?
My only USB-A wire (thanks to new Apple’s charging wires policy) became a little unpleasant to hold. Can I use a duct tape to fix it? Is it safe?

You should absolutely replace that cable. Never grab it anywhere but on the plastic surrounding the cable wrapper.
