So the microphone on my IPad is not working. However, the app “Shazam” can identify songs so I’m assuming the microphone isn’t broken.
I already checked on privacy-microphone and all the apps are allowing to use it but still doesn’t work…
When recording an audio or video you just can hear white noise.

Your iPad has multiple microphones (up to five for some models) - these being used for different purposes. Issues with microphones working with some Apps and not others is symptomatic of a defective microphone element.
You might be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad:
