Hi, I am trying to add my credit card to apple pay, but I could not verify through phone call as I am busy. I would like to change the verification method to SMS verification.

Apple has nothing to do with verification. Apple is not a bank and did not issue your card. Only the issuing bank and payment network (Mastercard, Visa etc.) can verify your account information and identity.
