Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Just got this A1219 16GB iPad from an estate sale for free. Trying to charge it / boot it and it just flashes the Apple Logo repeatedly.
I’ve tried the Volume Up/Down Power Button sequence and also the Power/Home Button sequence to no avail.
Any other thoughts…TIA
Given that the iPad1 will be 14 years old, it is almost certain that its battery will be dead. If the battery has any life at all, it may not be able to provide sufficient power for the iPad to successfully boot to a running state. If the iPad will not boot while connected to its Power Adapter, it's a lost cause.
Be aware that the iPad is long ago obsolete. All compatible 32-bit Apps were retired and withdrawn from the Apple App Store many years ago. As such, there are no compatible Apps available for download.
