Issues with my Apple Watch Series 9 battery life

Both my watch and phone have to most recent updates, 10.4 & 17.4.1 It wasn't until after both of these updates that my battery started draining. I used to charge once a day to 100% at night. Put on before bed and wake up to upper 90% and go all day through my evening workout before charging again. Now I wake up and it is in the 60% and the past 2 days has died during my evening workout. My watch, S9, isn't even 5 months old yet. This isn't even the first issue I've had with my new watch.
