How to disable predictive search in iTune?

As I'm typing in a search term, iTunes is continually predictive a plethora of search terms on every additional character that I enter. In doing so, it does not show new characters I type until it is done with the search on the previous set of characters. I'm therefore having to wait (literally) seconds between typing characters. I can't find a way to disable this. What I'd like is to enter my entire search term before iTunes starts searching.
