up & down keycaps need replacement

I'm a teacher with 24 magic keyboards in my lab, and 8 of the up & down arrows have little hooks that easily break! I tried to find a replacement for those keys but they are not sold anywhere. Buying new keyboards because of that would be incorrect. Nothing in my lab is missing or broken. I think that these keycaps don't have the correct design to last. Where can I buy a replacement for these keycaps? Please help!

Keyboard repair stickers? The black coating on backlit Apple laptop keyboards eventually wears off depending on the angle your fingernails hit various keys, leaving you with big light spots in the middle of some keys. I would have to think someone out there offers a product that is a replica set of Apple keycaps, in adhesive decals, with clear material where the letter, number, etc. would be. I would think this because the newest models of laptop all have permanent keycaps that require a ludicrously priced total lower-case replacement to fix what used to be a $1 item, so there should be a pretty good demand for them. I've found clear keyboard covers, which is not what I want (doesn't do anything about the existing key damage, and they're not comfortable to type on). I've found several places selling individual adhesive key covers with white (not clear) on black, but I have to think that doesn't work well on a backlit keyboard. Does anyone know of a manufacturer of Apple keycap "replacement decals" that does black on clear?

butterfly keyboard defect after 4 years and 1 month Given that this is a known issue, it's extremely disappointing that Apple only extends the repair program to 4 years. Our Macs last longer than that! I'm now faced with a 500 € bill to fix this, which is of course ridiculous. Apple really should extend this program to all such defective keyboards. I don't suppose anyone has a good suggestion for how to overcome this? There are so many Mac owners with this 'butterfly' issue that it's a shame they are not all compiled into 1 thread.
