Adding itunes purchased songs to slideshow

I purchased songs (one 2 days ago - 4/15/24) from iTunes and they show up in my library. But when I try to select them from my music library to add to the slide show, they won't come up in the search. I also did this a week ago, and it took days before it would show up in the search. The songs have been invoiced and paid for. Why does it take several days to become available in my search in photos? I am hoping that the last two I purchased will eventually show up in the search.
