How to zoom in on Mail?

Hi,

When I receive a massage on Mail, on my Macbook Pro (OS Sonoma), with very small caracters, how do I zoom in, in order to make the caracters bigger?

Apple Mail - any way to increase zoom level permanently (like in Safari and other apps) Is it possible in Apple Mail to increase the default zoom? I recently bought a larger screen and my resolution is higher now, so everything I'm reading appears MUCH smaller. Is there a way to increase the default text size/zoom in Apple Mail? I know how to do it temporarily (Cmd +), and you can increase the text size of mails and such (but this still leaves the menus really tiny), but want to do it so it defaults to a higher zoom level.

Where is default zoom in/out capability in Mail App? If I just want to zoom email contents then I can use cmd and +/- to do that. My complaint is that I have to do it every time I read an email. The mail app should persist zoom settings. Recommended behavior: Every time a new email is being viewed the last zoom settings should be used to render the email contents. Therefore, the email content automatically gets zoomed-in/out when viewed and the user does not have to zoom-in/out manually each time an email is viewed.
