Or is it too old? It’s on ios version 15. Am unable to install any newer updates. Error indicates it’s too old. Is there a way around it or do I have to have Verizon do it? Trying to transfer using the transfer or reset iPhone in general settings.

iPhone 7 is supported on iOS 15 and no later.
I would expect iOS 15 on an iPhone 7 to migrate to iOS 17 on an iPhone 15 just fine.

Thank you. We already tried the first option on the link but didn't have success. We'll try one of the other options to see if that works. I asked the question using my iphone 8. The update is for the iphone 7 to iphone 15. Good eye. Again, thanks for taking the time to answer.
