Why is my battery level in right hand corner of the screen yellow not the usual green?

Yellow Battery Icon when at 100% I understand that the battery Icon is yellow when in low battery mode. However, until recently, when my battery was fully charged, it would turn back to green. However, now it remains yellow. Why is this? Should I turn off Low Batter Mode or will this allow my battery to go down too low without warning me?

it's because you put the device into low power mode

this is how you take it out of it
