iPhone messages interruptiong youTube on a computer

This is weird. I was watching a YouTube channel on my computer. Suddenly it went to pause. The culprit was a message appearing on my iPhone, a message from my daughter. I continued the channel. That another interruption. Again from a message from my daughter on my iPhone. How can an iPhone message affect a YouTube Channel on a computer?

The YouTube app on my iPhone gives the “something was wrong“ message I have been having issues with youtube for a while now and its getting pretty annoying. Anytime I use the youtube app to watch videos or shorts , i get the “something was wrong “ message. Sometimes it only shows for shorts but recently its been showing on both too often! I have made sure the app was updated, deleted the app and redownloaded it, restarted my phone, …. And none worked. I can sometimes get it to work again if i close the app from the background and open it back but that takes a few tries to work and it never would let me watch shorts if done that way. When I reset the networks settings it works again like its supposed to but it doesn’t last, it will fail again. Before today, i would need to do a reset every month, but recently its like every other day and its definitely something that needs to be fixed asap! I have the latest Iphone model 14 pro with the latest iOS installed, updated app. And today for the first time trying to watch a video on apple music, i got the decor message! And yes Apple, i am an Apple Music subscriber. Also, none of my friends and family are having that problem on their Iphones. So i don’t believe its a Youtube app issue. Apple, give me a solution. Videos whiten on playback in messages When I get family videos sent from an Iphone 13 Pro Max via Messages to my Iphone 7 Plus, the videos appear normal in the message until I try to play them when the images get very white. The videos seem normal in the progress bar at the bottom of the screen, but are very white and not viewable on playback. Software on both iphones is current.
