Knowing if the Back was Changed:

So, who sold you the iPhone? If Apple, and new, out-of-the-box, then no worries there. If you got this served by Apple, then it would say so right on the invoice after getting it serviced. If not Apple, then there is no way of knowing, unless it looks promotional (from a reseller) with, say, a retailer's name on it.
