Beats Studio plus only work when in ear

This just occurred as I am typing, but I am a person who sleeps with my earbuds, today when I put by right earbud in my ear, even though it was connected, it would not play audio, but when I went to put it in transparency mode, the audio started to play, I take it out my ear, and then the audio cuts out, when I put it in noise cancellation mode, the audio plays again, so it will only work if I apply a pressure to the button, any reason this is happening? I’m all ears.
