Is there a way to ’search’ a pop up list in Numbers to avoid having to scroll through entire list?

I have created a pop-up list in a cell in Numbers. The problem is the list is too long to have to scroll up and down. Is there a way that I can start typing what I am looking for? I am using this for an invoice, where I have a pop-up list of the items to select from when filling out invoice.

Yes. Numbers > Settings >General > Editing: Show suggestions when editing table cells

Include a list of cells with the items from your Pop-Up. (Format as Automatic, not Pop-Up). Hide those rows. When you start typing in the same column, Numbers will suggest matches.

Ian.

Thank you for your reply. That might work for me; I would have to play with it. However, it is going to be a lot of work because I will need to make a list of item names for the cells that I am going to hide and another list from where I will pull the price for the invoice and I have 500+ items. I will need to figure out if I can just type one list and copy to the other one. By the way, I was unable to find the Numbers Settings.

Thank you so much for the help.
