Purging data from an erased USB stick drive

I have a Coobo 1Tb USB drive (bought for £16 on Amazon). It has been erased with 2 passes in Disk Utility but still shows as having 13Mb of "purgeable" data on it.

As per best practice when using devices bought online (or anywhere 🙂) I thought it best to wipe the drive in this very thorough way. Erasing with 7 passes would take too long, like weeks!

I don't know what the 13Mb of data would be as the drive is new and has never been used.

I do not know how to purge any purgeable data from it either.

Any advice appreciated, thanks.
