iPad tabs in Safari keep disappearing

Lately my tabs in Safari keep disappearing. I know how to recover them, I just recovered a bunch yesterday, but they were gone again today. I’ve checked my settings, and it is set for manual close, but this keeps happening. It is beyond annoying. Anyone have an explanation or suggestion? Thanks

Safari iOS 15.1 on iPad The tabs keep on disappearing. I lost about 15 tabs that I used frequently. I thought I did it accidentally then I realized they just disappear. Very frustrating. Thanks for any help.
