How to resolve the typing lag in Google Docs in iPhone App

For the love all things good and sacred, the most mighty Google, offer us millions of users a way out of our lag. I cannot for the life of me understand how the world's most powerful tech company can't resolve such a basic issue, one that's been present for too many years.

I pay close to $100/month for my Google Suite to support my business with it's cloud software. We adore Google for everything it offers us BUT want to curse it's name when our workflow is interrupted by a laggy typing glitch in Google Docs. I use GDocs for so many needs on the road and the workaround adds so much unnecessary time reformatting text when I bail to using my iPhone Notes App and copy + paste into GDocs when I'm back at my desktop.

There was a thread started about a year ago without any solutions, secretly hoping I've been in the dark about a tried & true resolution since.
