My apple fitness unlocks my iPhone 15 with going through the face recognition and/or the lock code, how do I fix that ?

my iPhone fitness app unlocks my phone if I select it to check the footsteps without having to use face recognition or lock code.

Fitness widget on iPhone Lock Screen is not updating I’ve seen a few threads on this topic but no solutions. I don’t have one either, but I have noticed something interesting. I added the Fitness widget activity ring to my Lock Screen in the area below the time. The ring never shows any progression, always stuck at zero. I even tried adding the fitness widget above the time, using the activity shown as calories burned related to my target. That shows “— / —“, so that isn’t working either. Now, here’s the thing. If I open my phone (using my password or Face ID), and then once it’s opened I drag down from the top to get the screen that looks exactly like the Lock Screen, the widget WORKS in both of those places. That is, the circle shows progression and the calories shows numbers. So the fitness widget(s) work on this other “lock screen”, just not on the actual Lock Screen. Doesn’t really help because it needs to work on the actual Lock Screen to be useful. But this shows that the Fitness widget(s) kind of sort of work, but there’s just a glitch preventing it from working in the right place (on the actual Lock Screen).

The Lock Screen widget for Fitness Activity Rings problem The Lock Screen widget I added for my Fitness Activity Rings isn’t showing any progress. Am I missing a step to get this to show my rings profess while my phone is locked? I have ‘Lock Screen Widgets’ and ‘Live Activities’ turned on in Settings/Face ID.

No, I touch the screen and it shows the time and date and e-call and camera screen with the fitness tracker on the screen and I select the step circle and it shows the opened app and I can close the app and it is unlocked!

I'm not sure I'm following you here? If you can tap the Fitness App, your phone is already unlocked by Face ID.
