quick time file shows up in the side bar when I open folders

I will do my best to try to explain this. Has anyone else seen this before? It appears that a QuickTime file as well as a question mark has been attached to the side bar when I go into a folder. is there is to remove or edit this? please see attached a screen shot.

File name randomly displays on screen even when Finder is closed When I hover the cursor over certain parts of the screen for too long, a grey box pops up with the name of a file as if I had Finder open and hovered over the name of a file. However, it happens when I don't have Finder open, which is the issue. It's as if Finder detects the cursor through all the other screens. I figured out that it's the files from Recents folder (even though it'd happen even when I didn't have it open), and when I hid it in Preferences from the sidebar, it just started showing files from Desktop. It's been an issue for a long time, and no updates have fixed it (currently I have Sonoma 14.3.1). It's infuriating, and I don't know what to do at this point.

Driving me BANANAS! 'save as' finder window doesn't show name of files! Someone PLEASE help me with this. I don't know how it changed and it's making me cuckoo. When I do a save as, the finder window ONLY sorts/buckets by date. I never set this up to do this. And name of file is not even a choice for menu bar. I want to sort by name. Help.

"Open Recent" Why doesn't this save my recently opened files anymore? Mac Sonoma 14.0 Pages 13.2 I've used a Mac for many years. I've always been able to go into Pages, Keynote or Numbers and click on the third selection down under file called "Open Recent" and then find the most recent files I've been working on. The current "solution" for this question does not work because the Preferences has changed in newer versions. Also I have a feeling my issue is in the root files under library and not just a problem with checking a box. Does anyone have experience with this and know how to fix it? The issue exists for all of my iWork. If I go to "Recent Files" in my finder menu that works fine. I'm taking about inside the actually apps.
