Set ALARM instead of timer

When using the prompt “hey siri set an alarm for X time from now” anything under an hour is set as a timer instead of alarm. Is there any way to force Siri to ONLY use the alarm, as it worked until iOS 17?

When asking Siri to set an alarm she just sets a timer now since iOS 17 update. When I ask Siri “hey siri, set an alarm for 10 minutes” before iOS 17 she would set an alarm clock like I asked, now she just sets a timer with the time asked for… like it’s really not rocket science.

Why does iOS18 Siri not tell me the exact set time of my alarm? I just upgraded to iOS 18 twos days ago, and had not upgraded the iOS in maybe 6 months, but now with iOS 18, when I say “Siri what time is my alarm set for?” Siri only replies “I found one alarm”, but does not verbally tell me the time of the alarm. Prior to installing iOS 18, Siri would reply out loud saying “I found one alarm, a 6am alarm, currently on”? What happened? A little help please. Thank you 🙏🏼

Siri plays different alarm sound than selected on iOS After ios 26.1 when I ask Siri to set an alarm, it plays a different one than the one that is currently selected.

Say the time you want it set to, rather than time interval.
