I just bought the iPhone 15 pro max. It has a dual sim, but no option to add "eSim". What could be the reason?
After searching online I can see the model 15 pro max model MU683LL/A does support to add eSim.

Devices sold in the US do not have a physical SIM slot at all.
If yours has a physical SIM slot, it can not be a US market device.
