AudioBook on CD

I am trying to import an audiobook from a cd. My iMac is not recognising the USB drive, it have previously for music cd's. I have a flashing light on the DVD/cd Drive. Where would i look to find the drive?

USB SuperDrive & MP3 disc I have a Macbook Pro and routintely use USB SuperDrive to "upload" audiobooks from library CD's. I received an audiobook today on MP3 and inserted it into the SuperDrive but nothing showed up in Music as it usually does. Nor in Finder or on the desktop. AND, I have no way of ejecting it. Any ideas? In the past (i-tunes era) I was able to upload or copy (not sure the correct language) MP3 audio books. Any guidance out there? Thank you in advance for your help. Dori

USB accessory needs power Connet "Apple USB" to a USB port on this Mac - BUT My Mac has no USB port! Only C. Am using a hub... what's wrong?? So trying to copy CD's of an audio book to my Mac... but continue to get the above message. What can I do to remedy this? The external DVD/CD drive worked well on my older MacBook Air
