Is there a way around Deleting tracks in Logic Pro X and Garageband with just the Delete key?

If I right click on a track header it says that Command + Delete Key will delete the track. Then why does the Delete Key alone delete the track? This doesn't make any sense. It's too easy to accidentally delete a track while deleting regions etc. by accidentally hitting Delete an extra time. Besides it says Command + Delete Key deletes the track, not just the Delete Key. Is there a setting that can change this?

You can assign your personal key commands here:

Logic pro > Key Commands > Edit Assignments...

I recommend to raise the number of undo steps here:

Logic pro > Settings (or Preferences) > General > Editing > Number of Undo Steps > ...

and also raise the number of auto-backups:

Logic pro > Settings (or Preferences) > General > Project Handling > Auto Backup > ...

And a reminder: Create Backups.
