How do I combine m4a files into one audio file

I have 10 short m4a audio files, each with a section of a chapter I'm writing. I want to combine them all into one audio file on my Mac. How do I do this?

Exporting Folders When I export audio from ableton, I want to export it into the same folder as the project I'm working on. For some strange reason there is no option for that and apple instead assumes I want to save into the last place I saved. Any advice on how to go directly to the folder in which I'm currently working?

Audacity is one option. By default, copy-pasted selections are inserted at the start of the track in this app, so you may want to add each in reverse order.
