Videos are randomly playing full blast when my device is on silent on my iPhone 14 Pro. (Speaker volume at 0).

my volume will be all the way down to 0 for both my ringer and my speaker and out of nowhere, a video I have clicked on will play at 100% volume.

When I re-check the settings, volume still shows at 0%. This is occurring completely randomly. One video will be fine and I scroll to the next and that one will play loudly.

I am using an iPhone 14 Pro and I see this is impacting other users of the same device but there has not been any resolution.

My phone is up to date and has gone through multiple updates since this issue has started.

issue started about 3 months ago.

I've restarted my phone many times.

I've force restarted my device many times.

I am 100% certain that the phone case is not pressing the buttons.

I am 100% certain my device is on silent. Both my ringer and my speaker volume is kept at 0 at all times because I have a baby.

I have confirmed I don’t have any weird media/playback settings that would cause this random volume change.

This is not simply occurring in one app. Affected apps so far are messages, safari and instagram.

Instagram and all other apps are up to date as well.

I have deleted and reinstalled instagram as well since this issue has started but, once again, it is not the only app affected.

This is incredibly annoying. I have woken up my napping baby and given my husband and myself a heart attack multiple times. How can we fix this?
