Problems with LibreLink 2 Continuous Glucose Monitor

My wife recently upgraded to an iPhone15 and it will not connect to her LibreLink2 Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). The manufacturer, Abbott Diabetes Care, advise that the iPhone15 is not on their list of compatible devices but it could be that is because the iPhone15 is relatively new to market. However, all iPhones from 7 to 14 are on their list of compatible devices. On previous phones it was always necessary to turn on NFC (near field communication) but it is not clear how to do this. Does anyone else have this problem or can anyone recommend the best way to use an iPhone15 to monitor her blood sugar levels via a LibreLink 2 CGM?

Also wondering if Apple have taken their eye off the ball on this one?
