How to restore protected content (not purchased) from the Apple Music service

My itunes music library suddenly disappeared. Luckily I have a back up of all imported and purchased music. I can just reload these form the files.

However I have about 200 artists added to my library as protected content (not purchased). The app on my PC will not allow me to re-add these files. I had them all nicely curated, genres etc. and don't want to have to go through them all again. Appreciate any help. Thank you.

Some recent M4A purchases seem to be protected I've recently purchased a couple of albums through iTunes (i.e. in December 2019), and a few of the songs on those albums are protected so I cannot copy the files to another computer and use them with a music player that is not iTunes. I use Clementine as my the player on my music server which doesn't have the horsepower to run iTunes effectively, but the affected files are useless on my music server since the files are protected. All song files, both the normal unprotected ones and the few protected ones, have file extention M4A so none of them should be protected. In fact, I didn't think Apple was using protected files any more. But for some reason, these files are protected and are unusable outside of iTunes. Is there any reason why this might be happening, and is there some way to "un-protect" these files?

music itunes Hello, I have been using iTunes for a long time, but now, upon logging in, all the music from my library that I have been collecting since 2016 has disappeared. Can you please advise if there is a way to recover it?

I can't access my Apple Music Library after resubscribing I had a library of numerous albums on Apple Music but I unsubscribed for some time. I resubscribed tonight with the same AppleID but the albums I saved have disappeared. I had done this before (unsubscribing and resubscribing) and then I had the access to all my previous library. But this time, all seems to have erased. I want to know how to recover those and if I can't, I need a specific reason Why?.
